19th Century Louis XVI Chest of Drawers in Mahogany

About This Piece

Vintage Design

Convenient Louis XVI whose drawers, feet, crosspieces are in solid mahogany and the sides each have two mahogany veneer panels.
It opens with a upper drawer, provided with three compartments of the same dimension, and below three similar drawers higher.
Each of them, assembled with a spawning tail and in perfect stressful condition, is surrounded by a quarter of round brass and embellished with a pair of drooping handles with lock, applique brass input and posterior key.
All these elements are original and in perfect working order.
The front amounts in the quarter round are fluted and the rear amounts are straight. They end with very sober turned feet with hooves.
This chest of drawers is summoned with a Sainte-Anne marble with a thickness of 3 cm original and with a throat.
Furniture structure: Pouss cache between the drawers. Drawer interiors and back of the oak furniture.
