This is an antique cased microscope. An English, black enamel scientific instrument by J. Swift & Son of London, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.

The scope fits neatly within the carry case with segmented compartments for further accessories
Matched J. Swift lenses present in striking golden casings
