A substantial and very good quality French Louis XIV style fireplace in Italian antique Nero Marquina marble, variegated with large splashes of white. This 'Bolection de Versailles" is one of a near pair with a deep concave fluted frieze with large acanthus at each end, beneath a shaped and stepped shelf. The jambs and header with a strong bolection moulding and the returns with brass air vents. A tall and impressive pair of Antique French Fireplaces. Opening size 99.5cm W x 101.5cm H
