Vintage Design

Pretty little vase by D'ARGENTAL art nouveau in acid-etched multilayer glass, decorated with sprigs of lily of the valley and a horseshoe inscribed "magnet handschuhe" manufactured by D'Argental in the St Louis workshops around 1910. It presents a restored piece at the foot, probably made in resin, see in the photos.
D'Argental is a renowned master glassmaker, famous for his expertise in the art of glass, combining tradition and innovation. Born in the 19th century, he was able to breathe new life into ancient techniques while integrating contemporary designs into his creations. His works, often inspired by nature, are distinguished by their brilliance and finesse.
