About This Piece

Vintage Design

Exceptional macassar ebony wood lounge and fabrics Ivory color velvet failure, a magnificent Art Deco creation of Leleu House.

It consists of five rooms, a sofa, two armchairs and two lounge chairs.
Each piece has been thoroughly restored by TWS (Calais) workshops in respect and artisanal know-how.
They all benefited from a padding at the vegetable hin, as at the initial.

The vegetable hin is a vegetable fiber (or natural fiber), it is essential for wheelchair padding.
These long and thick fibers of vegetable origin are ideal for old chair padding. They give volume and bring all the comforts required to meet.

The cushions all have a natural downstream padding for comfort with no other.

The Leleu decoration house reigned supreme for 50 years on decorative art.
She became known around the world by conducting prestigious arrangements like Normandy, in 1935, or the decoration of the Grand Ambassadors Fair to the League of Nations in Geneva, in 1936.

Under the successive impulse of Jules Leleu and his son André, the house is gradually spent, between 1920 and 1970, the realization of precious wood furniture finely adorned with decorations with floral themes to the manufacture of metal or plastic parts With the sleek design.
