Vintage Design

Inspired by the Pirouett 'model of Jean Chavanis, this work lamp, known as a notary, originally served for the lighting of typewriters and accounting machines, at the beginning of the 20th century.
It is a portable electric lamp with all -directions adjustable and with adjustable fire height. One of its characteristics is its facet lampshade, typically Art Deco's shape, as well as the articulation which makes it possible to retract its arm in the column, revolution for the time.
In this case, this business lamp is mounted on a cut switches cut with a circular base and has a gilded metal lampshade.

This high -end French achievement for the time, seduced by its contemporary form and the history it conveys.
