Alphonse Mucha was a Czech painter, illustrator and graphic artist who became famous for his posters and decorative arts, especially during the Art Nouveau period. In 1899, he was commissioned by Moët & Chandon to create an advertisement for their champagne. The result was a beautiful lithograph that showcases Mucha’s intricate style and attention to detail.
