Vintage Design

Biedermeier game table folded up as a console table on the wall or between two sofas. France around 1820. Bird's eye maple veneered with ribbon inlays in mahogany and ash. Can be used as a game table with a felt-covered playing surface. Conical pilaster rising from a cut-out quatrefoil base that supports the plate. Rolled and inlaid volutes as feet with wheels underneath for moving the table. Very nice restoration in shellac hand polish.
