Superb Bust Bronze Brown patina, signed Emmanuel Villanis (1858-1914), titled "Bohemian Girl" on the pedestal.
French sculptor linked to the Art Nouveau movement, Villanis was known for his trials Bronze where the Neo-classical traditional style meets the elegant lines or Art Nouveau. Busts prolific creator throughout his career, his representations or the body are Female Sensual and marry a game patina under the fineness or the line.
Designed as attractive, mysterious and bold, the Bohemian exerted a fascination on the artist who created several works materializing these free women and seductive.
