A bull from the famous Hungarian and Austro-Hungarian Zsolnay pottery factory, founded in the middle of the 19th century. The figure of a strong animal with massive proportions was reduced to a smooth porcelain line. This combination gives an effect that will be a very original accent even in a demanding contemporary interior.

Porcelain figurines from the animalistic trend are a group of decorative products that were to use the possibilities of the material to convey the entire beauty of the subject immortalized in it. Galloping horses, a resting lion, a sleeping dog - these are the motifs of porcelain products which, unlike the forms of utility porcelain, are intended only for the ritual of watching and contemplating the charm of the work.

The figure on the bottom has a full and legible Zsolnay signature. Works from the Zsolnay label are highly appreciated among collectors for their high artistic class and perfect workmanship.

Taurus, among many other meanings, is a symbol of the stock market boom. The animal means strength and fierce fight. The most famous stock market bull known as the ''Charging Bull'' stands on Wall Street as a memento of 1987 and a good sign for the future.
