Vintage Design

Extremely rare glass stemware set. The cup and foot base are in cobalt blue. This type of glass is what was considered a Champagne glass in the 1950s and 1960s. A complex baroque motif is attached to the blown stem of each glass. Each part of the stem is embellished with 24-carat gold leaf. The glasses are made completely by hand. This is the smaller set of 6 from an original set of 12. An incredible find. Each of them is large enough to be considered a small vase. There was a reason why this round, shallow shape was designed for Champagne: the sensation of crispness on the nose and bouquet. Today you can also serve a martini or even use it as an ice cream sundae.
