This pedestal table, from the Restoration period, is a remarkable example of the elegance and refinement of furniture from the early 19th century.
It features a burl mahogany veneered structure, known for its depth of color and intricate patterns, which catch the light and attract the eye.
Topped with a Carrara marble bowl slab, famous for its pristine whiteness and subtle gray veining.
The double evolution song adds a touch of delicate ornamentation.
The whole is shaped into a curved, rounded barrel with twelve facets while the tripod foot with lion's claws provides robust stability and impressive sculptural detail.
