About This Piece

Vintage Design

Wide, round frame with expressive modeling in the form of curved round rod segments that are connected by acanthus leaf elements. On the inner edge of the frame of fine, small -scale flower garland relief as well as a narrow, ebonized strap that holds the convex mirror glass. Original mirror glass with corroded areas. On the back of the mirror old label of a warehouse called: "All's Depository Colwyn Bay/Greenhalgh H 8002", which probably indicates that the mirror in the past owned a family called Greenhalgh from Colwyn Bay, a seaside resort on the Welsh North coast, had been found.
