This is a pair of vintage putti figures. A French, sculpted bronze over marble decorative cupid ornament after Auguste Moreau, dating to the Art Deco period, circa 1930.

Charming cherub figures, with forlorn pose at rest
Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order
Quality bronze figures, with deep grey-brown tonality
Standing upon a polished circular, tiered marble base

Sculpted after Auguste Moreau (1834 - 1917), with signature to base
Captures the cherub resting upon his walking stick on a long journey by foot
Dressed to the base with a protective green baize
Good weight in the hand at 2.26kg and 2.12kg respectively (4.98 lb and 4.67 lb)

This is a fine pair of vintage putti figures, with a delightfully classic appeal. Delivered ready to display.
