Antique French Cast iron Fire Back. The Fire back is extremely Heavy, it is decorated with the “Armes de France” with the Crest of the House of Bourbon. The crest consists of a crown with 3 fleurs de lys and the date 1622 is clearly seen Size 1.5” thick, 23” wide and 22.5 high at the highest point. The Fire back is in good condition for its age and there are no cracks breaks or crisps and it has an old black painted finish.
