Vintage Design

Napoléon III wood and stucco wall mirror painted of black and gold. During the Napoleon III period, artists had a keen interest in everything to do with Eastern art. This explains the motifs on this mirror, created to invite travel. The black and gold furniture are typical of the search for the exotic of the Napoleon III period. The mirror is the original, with marks of time which make a part of the interest of the mirror. Good antique condition with light refinishing on the framework.
