A pair of exceptional and rare large vases, made in the 1950s, by the Hutschenreuther Kunstabteilung in Selb. The decor is typical of the time - Venice.
In the 1950s, people in Germany discovered Italy as a travel destination and associated it with sun, beach, sea and food. For many this was a dream. At this time, decors were created that corresponded to these wishes.
