About This Piece

Beautiful painting from the Italian school of the second half of the 17th century.
The religious subject depicts the Virgin Mary with Baby Jesus and St. John and the Lamb.
The style, patina and setting suggest a central-northern Italian production, probably from the Emilian area and in particular from the Ferrara area.
The scene is set in a striking rocky landscape with a beautiful periwinkle blue sky in the background.
The material used for this small masterpiece denotes the importance of our painting; in fact, copper was mainly used by established masters for important commissions.
This work is embellished with a beautiful 19th-century gilt wood frame.
Certificate of authenticity issued by Sabrina Egidi Expert of the Court and C.C.I.A.A. of Rome.
