This commonly used phrase in Japanese culture symbolizes a state of inner purity and spiritual cleanliness.

The calligraphy on the board is an artistic representation of these characters, radiating a sense of peace and spiritual purity.

On the back, the engraver's signature is displayed: 八十五柏翁刻, meaning "Engraved by Kashiwa Okina at age 85".
