Vintage Design

Pair of elegant, very decorative Louis XVI chairs from the 2nd French imperial period: sitting on four round conical legs with turned fluting and acanthus leaf carving wide oval seat of comfortable upholstery using a red velvet velvet with embossed design. Framing of the seat decorated with classicist wave band decor. Oval backrest slightly indented at the bottom with carved floral bouquet at the upper end. Framing finely carved and gilded. Condition: very good, min. signs of age and use.
