Vintage Design

A stunning and timeless 'Magneto' floor lamp designed by Henk Fillekes and manufactured by Ateliers Artiforte in the Netherlands, produced from 1954-1958. This rare lamp was produced for a short period and not that many were made, these were hand assembled and this was not a big company, this lamp is from the starting period by Artiforte in the mid-1950s. The name of the lamp is pretty obvious as this amazing design has 1 very recognizable centre point, the magnet. It has a very nice solid metal tripod foot, and this foot is connected to a balancing arm using the round shaped magnet. The tripod foot is made of solid steel and is lacquered in white, the arm is nickel plated metal and the weight and shade are white as well.
