Glass center or coffee table “Marcuso”, designed by Marco Zanuso with smoked glass top and detachable stainless steel legs. Rare and desirable round version with 3 legs. Marco Zanuso (1916–2001) was an influential Italian architect and designer, renowned for his pioneering work in post-war industrial design. A key figure in the modernist movement, Zanuso emphasized the integration of form, function, and technology. He collaborated with companies like Arflex and Brionvega, creating iconic pieces such as the Lady Chair (1951) and the Doney 14 television (1962), blending innovative materials like foam rubber and plastics with elegant, functional design. Zanuso also played a pivotal role in shaping the aesthetics of Italian design, contributing to the global reputation of “Made in Italy.”
