About This Piece

A small seascape, painted in and expressive style. They are distinguished by beauty, motive and great painting technique

The image shows a view from the port of the waving sea and ships on a nice sunny day. The artist captured the beauty of the stormy sea, moving ships and rolling clouds across the sky thanks to his extraordinary painterly expression. With quick, sure strokes of the brush, thick layers of paint creating spots with slightly ragged, blurred edges, they created the impression of constant agitation, shaking of the blurring horizon. The artist's proficiency is also emphasized by a great sense of color - the use of original color combinations - varied with grays and lots of blues or greens contrasted with here and there accents of warm, orange hay.

The painting is part of the expressive painting trend, showing the world through the prism of the artist's individual view, his temperament and character, as well as the changeability and power of nature.

On the back there is a dedication, made a year after the piece of art was painted, with the author's signature. The signature was also repeated on the front, in the lower left corner. Picture before maintenance. This varnish will make the surface of the painting less yellow.
