Very elegant Italian Art Deco low consolle side table, ideal as TV stand, in walnut with applied burl elm, two drawers and original brass detailed art deco handles. The Art Deco style, that preceded Hollywood Regency and thereafter Mid-Century Modern, is all about making a big statement and was considered very glamorous, elegant, functional, and modern. Bold geometric patterns with curved angles and a clear preference for symmetry in design with the generous use of gold, glass, mirror and a variety of expensive and exotic materials.
