"Box XIXe Dieppe Ajouree Animals Lapis Lazuli Cabochon" This candy box is a Dieppe work worthy of a museum. We find a frieze with a decoration of animals where we have, a fox, a weasel, squirrels and birds all intertwined in bunches of grapes. Everything is carved by hand a titanic work a technical feat. Several slits to be noted on the top of the cabochon, one of which is visible from the inside. Frictions and a scratch inside the box. For the top part it weighs a significant weight which is 142 grams, and the total weight of the object is 284 grams. It is about a stone in Lapis Lazuli, I think but I can not confirm it to you posed in cabochon. A very beautiful object for amateur and collector.
