Vintage Design

Up Závody was founded in Brno in 1920, following a merger of companies started by Jan Vaněk and Karel Slavíček. Initially composed of carpenters that mainly produced furniture, the company expanded its offer in the late 1920s to include an entire range of home furniture, following the directive of the director of fresh and early development of the company, Jindřich Halabala, who led the promotion of the company's products and sales strategy until 1946.
