Rud Thygesen & Johnny Sorensen met while studying at the Danish School Of Arts, Crafts & Design and founded their joint design studio in 1966.

Their designs were functional, aesthetic, very appealing and of exceptional quality. Accordingly, the two were successful, especially while they had their designs manufactured by Magnus Olesen. Meanwhile, the objects of the designer duo can be found in museums around the world, including Oslo, London, Copenhagen and even the Museum Of Modern Art in New York.

This offer refers to one (1) armchair from the "King Series", model 7701, designed in the 1970s and distributed by the renowned Danish furniture distributor BOTIUM. Finished in oak and black leather. Back section in Viennese weave..
The offered items are the lounge version of the design. This is characterized by a lower seating position and more seating space in width. Suitable as vis-à-vis a sofa or as a conversation chair. Not to be confound with the chair 7703.

Both chairs are in quite exceptional condition.
