About This Piece

Abstract sculpture, inspired by organic forms. Made in turquoise colored glass. The sculpture by Cwetan Czewa - a Polish artist of Bulgarian origin.

The block is shaped expressively, with bending and curling edges, strongly expanded in space. Its shape is reminiscent of organic and marine forms, it can evoke associations with spilling water in motion. The sculpture has air bubbles enclosed inside the structure, and even spatial channels, formed using the author's technique, requiring the creator of extraordinary skills and experience.

Flowing, thickened and tapering edges, as if frozen during shaping and subtle coloring help the artist bring out the beauty and essence of glass.

The sculpture is and example of the style of contemporary glass and glass designed by Henryk Albin Tomaszewski.

The sculpture is set on a hexagonal stone pedestal with a decorative surface. A perfectly composed base and a glass block complement each other in terms of color and form.
