This painting is resonant with bold colours and layers of those colours combine to form a beautiful whole. The inspiration for this piece was the drought we experienced in the Summer of 2022. Sun baked earth and relentless, cloudless skies, the drought seemed endless. Acrylic on box canvas with gold leaf and oxidised copper paint 76 x 51 cm. 30" x 20"
