Small Late 19th Century Louis XVI Walnut Office

About This Piece

Vintage Design

This massive walnut medium office is made up of two drawers of the same dimensions, molded in double, on each side. Those of the top close using original functional locks with keys and brass input. Those at the bottom have a wood button.
This office also opens with a central drawer of the same composition. Below the latter, the leg passage is embellished with two small consoles.
The sides and the back of this piece of furniture are very sober and finished.
This set rests on four turned feet whose central spindle part is fluted.
The tab cutting top, embellished with a throat and a corbin beak, is garnished with well -joined boards. He hides, under the right flan, a sliding tablet.
with its soft lines and its warm shade, this Louis XVI style office is a timeless furniture rare by its dimensions.
