About This Piece

Very beautiful oil on panel of the Belgian painter Tony Reniers (1923-2013) titled on the back "Le Printemps" and dated 1992. Signed and dated at the bottom left. Name of the work, date, dimensions and official cachet of the artist on the back. Very good state. About the painter: he was born in 1923 and died in 2013. Student of Lucien Hock, he stayed in Wezembeek-Oppem (near Brussels, Belgium). Listed in the Paul Piron art guide. Worked on the one hand as a graphic designer for a large Brussels bank and on the other hand as a painter. Since his retirement in 1984, he has been passionate about painting and has been extremely productive.
