Very unusual vintage American acrylic glass and glass 4 pillar, roulette win marker coffee table dating from the 1970s.

This table is a statement in its own right but possibly has more appeal if you happen to love playing roulette. The free floating glass top is supported on large and solid acrylic glass pillars which look exactly like the win markers you find on a roulette table in a casino. The supports can be placed at varying distances apart to support the glass top and although supplied here with a square glass would also look great with a round top too. I’ve never seen another one like it and despite a long time searching various archives and photo libraries the designer and maker remains a mystery – all we know is that it originates from the USA and is dated to the 1970s.

It's in good vintage condition with just light marks and scratches to the top and on the 4 bases commensurate with age and use. Note that in the photos the base supports look a little grey in colour; they’re not, they are completely clear, but if there was no contrast in the image it would be very difficult to see them on a white background!
