Maciste is a vintage furry footstool finely hand-crafted in Italy in the early 70s.
This piece is not only a comfortable and eclectic design piece but it's also really functional.
In fact it can be opened and it reveals a solid 60 cm / 24 inch heigh stepladder (the adult person standing on it in the pic weighs 70 kg)
In addition it shows a practical trapdoor unveiling a large storage space that can fit kids games, blankets, and books for example.
