Vintage Design

The Kilim rug is a hand-woven wool rug made in Afghanistan. Kilims (often called kelims) are flat woven rugs based on the traditions of nomadic peoples, but became very popular and industrially produced in the twentieth century. The rug is rectangular in shape. Geometric shapes form a pattern that progresses towards the centre in irregular stripes. The outlines of the forms are abstracted and 'blurred' in a way typical of kilim weaving. The rug is in very good original condition.

Delivery Details

Delivery will be completed by a parcel service such as UPS, DHL, or FedEx.
You will receive a tracking number to monitor the status of your shipment.
Delivery will take place between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
A wooden crate may be used for intercontinental shipments for maximum protection.
Item will be left in its packaging after delivery.
A signature will be required upon delivery.
