Vintage Design

Traditional Kuba grass textile handmade from the indigenous people of the Congo. Bold geometric patterns created by hand with woven raffia palm fibers in a time-intensive process involving multiple people. Raffia fibers are first striped, kneaded and woven until soft, dyed using natural dye and lastly, decorated with embroidery, appliqués, or patchwork techniques. The art of making these cloths spans from several centuries and various ethnic groups within the Kuba Kingdom with great meaning in every pattern.

Delivery Details

Delivery will be completed by a parcel service such as UPS, DHL, or FedEx.
You will receive a tracking number to monitor the status of your shipment.
Delivery will take place between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
A wooden crate may be used for intercontinental shipments for maximum protection.
Item will be left in its packaging after delivery.
A signature will be required upon delivery.
