This is a vintage telescope tripod. An English, oak and bronze support stand, dating to the mid-20th century, circa 1940.

Displays a desirable aged patina

Bronze ferrule atop a cast alloy mount
Socket mount with an approximate 20mm (0.75'') diameter, secured by twist lock
Raised upon tapering legs with pointed, alloy feet
