Vintage Design

A very fine silk Qum rug, handwoven circa 1980 with a traditional hunting scene on a rose field and blue border. Exceptionally fine with 10x10 knots per centimetre. The figures are particularly interesting with the saddles and jackets having individual designs. Signed by the weaver, Salehi.

Size: 1.53m x 1.00m (5ft x 3ft 3in)

This rug is in original condition with full pile. The fringes and selvedges are original and secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
